Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and vigilant Night Watchman to oversee and protect our Secondary Examination Station premises during nighttime hours. This role is crucial for maintaining the security and integrity of our site where we conduct inspections of trailers carrying produce from Mexico to the US. You will work closely with Customs and Border Protection(CBP) to ensure the safety and security of the facility.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor security cameras, alarm systems, and physical premises for any signs of intrusion or disturbance.
- Conduct regular patrols around the property to ensure that it is secure.
- Maintain a log of night activities, noting any incidents or irregularities.
- Ensure all entrances and exits are secure.
- Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances immediately.
- Collaborate with law enforcement and CBP officers when necessary.
- Report any security breaches, damage, or potential threats to management immediately.
- Manage access to the facility for authorized personnel during night hours.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in security or surveillance is preferred, but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and vigilance.
- Ability to respond appropriately in emergency situations.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to work night shifts and weekends.
- Background check and drug screening will be required.
