City of Roma Seeking Bids for Water Treatment Plant Emergency Generator Equipment

The City of Roma is requesting bids for equipment only as part of the Texas Division of Emergency Management Water Treatment Plant Emergency Generator Improvements Project.

This project includes the furnishing and delivery of emergency generator-related equipment for the City’s Water Treatment Plant and High Service Pump Station. The equipment scope includes:

  • New 800A service entrance rated MTS/ATS
  • 500kW generator for the Water Treatment Plant
  • New 600A service entrance rated MTS/ATS
  • 250kW generator for the High Service Pump Station

Sealed bids will be received at Roma City Hall, located at 201 W. Convent Blvd., Roma, Texas 78584, until:

Thursday, May 21, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. local time

Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at that time.

Prospective bidders are encouraged to register on the website as plan holders, even if they obtained documents from another source. Updates, addenda, reports, and additional bidding information will be issued through CivCast.

A mandatory pre-bid conference will not be held for the equipment-only contract.
