City of Roma Requests Proposals for Workers’ Comp Insurance

The City of Roma is accepting sealed proposals from qualified firms to provide Workers’ Compensation Insurance coverage and related services for the City.

The purpose of this Request for Proposals is to secure workers’ compensation coverage, claims services, safety support, and risk-management services that best meet the needs of the City of Roma.

Questions should be submitted in writing sufficiently in advance of the proposal deadline to allow the City time to respond.

Scope of Services

The City is seeking proposals for workers’ compensation insurance coverage and related services, including claims administration, medical management, return-to-work support, loss-control services, safety training, reporting, and risk-management support.

The anticipated coverage effective date is October 1, 2026, subject to approval by the Roma City Council and completion of all required documents.

Evaluation and Award

The City may evaluate proposals based on overall cost, coverage terms, claims administration, service capabilities, financial stability, municipal experience, references, loss-control services, and overall best value.

The City of Roma reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, waive informalities or irregularities, request additional information, negotiate with one or more proposers, and award the contract to the proposer determined to provide the best value and be in the best interest of the City.

No award will be made at the public opening.
